Coliphur is formed by the effective and stable association of two antibacterial agents: Colistin (polymyxin E) polypeptide antibiotic with bactericidal activity, interacts with phospholipid and penetrates the membrane structure of bacteria, changing the permeability and causing their lysis. Acts on Gram negative bacteria. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with bactericidal activity, which inhibits translation in the process of protein synthesis by interfering with the normal of the 30S subunit ribosomal sensitive organisms function. Active mainly against Gram-negative aerobic, with very little action and limited on anaerobic Gram-positive.

Oral administration in drinking water.

1 ml of Coliphur per 1 litre of drinking water/day, for 5 – 7 days.
Do not administer to ruminants that have initiated rumination.
