Dihydroestreptomycin – Iven



Treatment of bacterial infections, postoperative and/or secondary viral diseases, caused by germs sensitive to dihydroestreptomycin.
Cattle (calves): Leptospirosis, Colibacillosis, genito-urinary Infections, Mastitis, Pasteurellosis and Salmonellosis.
Sheep and goats: Leptospirosis, genito-urinary Infections and Mastitis.
Pigs: Leptospirosis, Pneumonia, genito-urinary Infections, Mastitis, Salmonellosis and Septicemia.
Horses: Pasteurellosis and Leptospirosis.
Dogs: Leptospirosis.

Especies animales: Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Pigs and Horses.

Bactericidal aminoglycoside antibiotic, whose antimicrobial action stems from the binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit. It
particularly prevents the initiation phase and it also alters the permeability of the bacterial membrane. It is active against Gram negative bacteria such as Leptospira spp.

Intramuscular or subcutaneous.

Cattle: 0,5 – 0,75 ml of Dihydroestreptomycin-Iven/10 kg b.w., every 12 hours, for 3-4 days.
Sheep, Goats, Pigs and Horses: 0,25-0,5 ml of Dihydroestreptomycin-Iven/10 kg p.v.), every 12 hours, for 3 – 4 days.

Meat: 64 days.
Milk: 2 days.
