Doxycyclin (hyclate) 100 mg/ml

Indicaciones

Pigs: Treatment of swine pneumoniae caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus parasuis and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
Poultry (broilers): Treatment of respiratory diseases like CRD (chronic respiratory disease of birds) and/or mycoplasma. Aviar cholera (avian pasteurellosis, avian hemorrhagic septicemia) caused by Pasteurella multocida type A. Treatment of colibacillosis. Avian chlamydiosis (CA, psittacosis, ornithosis) caused by Chlamydophila psittaci.

Oral liquid

Formato: 1 and 5 litres.

Especies animales: Pigs and Poultry.

Doxycyclin is a bacteriostatic antibacterial agent, which acts by interfering in the bacterial protein synthesis of sensitives species. It is active against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria.

Oral administration in drinking water.

Pigs: 1 ml of Doxmay Ora Solution/litre of drinking water/ day for 8 consecutive days, equivalent to 10 mg of doxycyclin/ kg b.w./day. The medicated water will be the only source of drinking water.
Poultry (broilers): 50 – 100 ml of Doxmay per 100 litres of drinking water (0,25 ml per kg b.w.), for 3 – 5 days.

Meat: Pigs: 4 days; Poultry (broilers): 7 days.
