Cattle, Sheep, Goats and Horses: Treatment of infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to gentamicin.
Cattle: Coliform mastitis, colibacillosis and salmonellosis in calves. Genitourinary infections. Respiratory tract infections.
Sheep, Goats and Horses: Colibacillosis and salmonellosis in calves, lambs and foals. Genitourinary infections. Respiratory tract infections.


Injectable solution

Formato: 100 and 250 ml

Especies animales: Cattle, Sheep, Goats and Horses.

Gentamicin is a bactericidal aminoglycoside antibacterial agent that acts on the 30S ribosomal subunit, preventing protein synthesis. It is active against Gram negatives bacteria such as: Enterobacter aerogenes, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Fusobacterium necrophorum and Prevotella melaninogenica. It is also active against some Gram positive bacteria such as: Staphylococcus aureus, Beta-hemolytic streptococci, Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium renale and Arcanobacterium pyogenes.

Intramuscular or intravenous.

Cattle: 0.5 – 1.2 ml per 10 kg b.w. every 12 hours for 3 consecutive days.
Sheep, Goats and Horses: 0.5 – 1 ml per 10 kg b.w. every 8 hours for 3 consecutive days.

Meat: 60 days.
Milk: 3 days.
